Summer Blooms & Simple Joys: Why June is the Perfect Time to Send Flowers

Jun 21st 2025

June is here, and with it comes the easy rhythm of summer—longer days, golden light, and garden-fresh color at every turn. It’s a beautiful time to slow down, reconnect, and find joy in the little things. At The Well Behaved Tulip, we believe flowers do just that. Whether you're sending a bouquet to someone you love or brightening your own home, June is full of reasons to share something beautiful.

What’s in Season This Month?

Some of our absolute favorite flowers are blooming right now, and we’re filling the shop with premium seasonal varieties like:

  • Garden roses with their lush, ruffled petals
  • Delphinium and larkspur in dreamy shades of blue and lavender
  • Peonies (while they last!)—a seasonal favorite for their soft romance
  • Lisianthus, snapdragons, and sweet peas for texture and charm

Our floral arrangements are made fresh daily in our Kennett Square studio using only the highest quality blooms, many of which are sourced from trusted growers and local flower farms.

Everyday Occasions Deserve Flowers, Too

Some of the most meaningful deliveries we make aren’t for weddings or events—they’re for everyday moments. A surprise bouquet on a Tuesday, a soft centerpiece to brighten the dining table, a sweet hello just because. These are the gestures that linger.

Whether you’re marking a milestone or simply sending a little beauty out into the world, a thoughtfully designed floral arrangement can say more than words.

Local Flower Delivery in Kennett Square and Beyond

We offer local flower delivery Tuesday through Saturday throughout Kennett Square, Avondale, West Grove, Landenberg, Chadds Ford, and select nearby areas. Every arrangement is made to order and hand-delivered with care.

You can shop our seasonal offerings online or reach out to request a custom floral design that reflects your vision.

A Note from Meghan
Flowers have always been, for me, a way of expressing something heartfelt—something that lingers long after the blooms have faded. June is such a lovely month to share that sentiment. If there’s someone who’s been on your mind lately, consider sending a little beauty their way. And if you’re just craving flowers for yourself? I say treat yourself.

With gratitude,
Meghan Mannon
